New Apple keyboard + iMac?

Well it makes sense if it's true since they've done so on the Mac Books. Apple's re-design of their keyboard looks interesting.

As reported on Gizmodo: "The rumored new Apple keyboard has already been analyzed to death, compared to its current, fully real counterpart. But in this handy side by side picture we can see the potential impact the new design will have on Apple users. What, for instance, will we ever do without the 'Help' key? Overall, the comparison shows that if Apple isn't using this new keyboard, they really should be, as dock and multimedia functions have been condensed and organized neatly."

If this isn't enough to get you excited, how about the release of the New iMac?

Laced Up Phat!

Fatlace has officially opened its doors offering an array of exclusive street goods from brands like Tokyo Drive, Kiks Tyo, Information, MacDaddy, Edwin, Hellz-Bellz, G-Shock, Nike, and Vans as well as it's own brand Fatlace. The interior's minimal design and color palette go well with how their product line is merchandised. Only select pieces on the floor. Think of it like an art gallery if you will.

Some MASH cats came through.

Kenta shows us how it's done the Japanese way.

Can you guess the inspiration behind this wall concept?

The merchandise. Ronnie rocks at folding without a board.

Kenta is man of all sorts. A super cool guy. He drove up from sunny so-cal to attend the grand opening and to get his drink on at the club. Kenta represents his label Tokyo-Drive, writes for Daytona, Japan's #1 magazine covering the US lifestyle and culture, rolls high for Lexus, consults for Ford Motor Company of Japan, and wants to marry a fine looking blonde.

Edwin denim direct from Japan baybee!

So fresh and so clean.

Enjoing the cool SF breeze while walking around Japan Town, I had the opportunity to catch up with my old friend Daniel. One of the most positive dudes that I know. One on one chats about life, fatherhood, and wearing his pair of classic Fatlace x Savier Trainers. Daniel also started a label called Breakdown Intl. Pretty fresh designs I must say.

After spending the rest of our afternoon at Fatlace, we drove back to Mark's house to chill out and re-coop for the long evening that awaited us. Club Butterfly played host to the Grand Opening party with DJ's Apollo, Shortkut, and the infamous Fran Boogie. As I sat there I started to realize that I was diggin' the fireplace.

Not only did Mark accomplish the opening of Fatlace but a venture to a new road in his career begins. After recently resigning from GAP as Creative Director, our man is on his way to the Northwest with a prosperous offer. He tells us about the pitch, the process and what he will be doing for this brand giant. We're very excited for him.

Kenta and I were getting hungry so we started to talk about Filipino cuisines. His favorite is Longanisa with white rice. So Mark suggested this spot that serves Filipino food and has a Casino which I clearly remember going to back in the good ol' days.

Well we decided on L&L Hawaiian BBQ instead.

Brooklyn's bouncer thinga majigger. She was already in bed so we didn't have a chance to play with her.

We rolled in Kenta's brand new Lexus of the month...yes month! He has it like that. The GS450H is very baller status and had Mark inquiring how he can roll like Kenta.

L&L Hawaiian BBQ was closed. What a bummer!

So it was IN-N-OUT that satisfied the hunger. Alright off to Butterfly.

Interiors always get me. Especially with the ambient lighting and soulful beats in the back drop. Butterfly's rear glass wall displays a gorgeous view of the bay.

The Fatlace mirror cap.

Creative Kultcha baybee! Kenta, myself, and Mark. Big things happening soon...

Some of the Fatlace crew representin'. Philip of 360 Video Magazine enjoing whatever it is that gives him the bitter beer face. Mark and Kenta getting their cameras ready for the blogs.

On the balcony, minglers overlooking the bay.

Doing what he does best at every function he's present in. Fran Boogie lighting up the crowd. Big up Fran!

Lovely people everywhere.

DJ Apollo dropped a nice set on us that evening.

My man Jeffrin is quite the fam bam. His cousin Rocknswift, one of my best friends, is a huge Wowowee fan. Unfortunately Rocky couldn't make it out due to his attendance at the Wowowee show in Chicago?

Speechless

It's just freakin' bananas.

Web's giant

Google continues to monopolize the market to make things easy and efficient for our digital lifestyle.

Taken from WSJ:
Google Inc. agreed to acquire email security company Postini Inc. for $625 million in cash, in a deal that furthers the Internet giant's push into business software.

Postini, which has developed technology for protecting and managing email and instant messages, is based in San Carlos, Calif. The closely held company was founded in 1999 and has funding from August Capital and Mobius Venture Capital. Postini is one of a host of small companies that offer Web-based services to help businesses clean their email of spam, viruses and other software-related problems.

The Bread & Butter trade show in Barcelona is where hi-end brands to start ups showcase their upcoming line to buyers and the press. My focus of course is with the Sports and Street categories. I haven't posted any current works as of late so here's a glimpse of a new Hi-Tec website under development. Court is huge in UK! We're launching in August so stay tuned.

The Wowo Dog Pod and Feeding Station, by Vurv Design, are targeted at hip, design-conscious pet owners and their pampered pets. Wowo's bent ply products have a distinct mid-century aesthetic, and cater to pet owners who want their pet accessories to complement the beauty of their modern furnishings. It's like having an Eames bent chair for your pet!

You know my Steaz

With an array of wonderful flavors, Steaz has been showing up at my usual grocery spots and it's name caught my attention. Succulent, sweet and ripe from the vine, Grape is my flavor of choice.

Steaz Organic Green Tea Soda is the brainchild of Eric Schnell and Steven Kessler who have made it their life goal to bring healthy alternatives to the beverage market. To put it simply, they loved soda but not all of the bad stuff that went along with it. So they made sure to gather the best ingredients from around the globe and include them in every bottle.
