Vietnam

Vietnam co-choreographs in Alicia Key's new music video "No One". I remember him as a shorty practicing his butt off at the youth center on the west side of Modesto with all of the local talent. Vietnam has since gone global as a dancer for many artists such as Missy Elliot and has been featured in several pubs and ad campaigns. The 209 has bred some serious B-Boy talent. Big ups Vietnam!

I made a quick stop to this new coffee house called Wanderlust. Good coffee and great interior design equals creative stimulation. Can't top that. I appreciated the integration of an art gallery towards the back of their shop and of course their friendly staff.

Check your connections

My good friend Anthony Luna swung by to catch up on what life has been offering. Great news is he and his wife Vanessa are expecting another child. Blessings to them both! We then delved into new developments for his business PC Connect, a computer service company specializing in computer hardware/software, maintenance, repair as well as home theater design and installations. A concept model similar to Firedog. Since it's inception in 2005, I've been handling PC Connect's identity and creative and since then the company has been building it's clientele at a good pace. We're developing new print advertising, online presence, and a branded company vehicle that reflects their style of quality and services.

Pow Wow

Isaac Sanchez, my director of endless possibilities, and I met up for breakfast and a pow wow with my long time friend Aiesha White. I swear breakfast is the best meal of the day as it seems most of the creative juices come out then. We met to discuss some future projects that Isaac and I have in store.


Aiesha is a creative for MAC Cosmetics and pretty much knows everyone in the nightlife hustle of Modesto. We're pleased to sit with her and discuss strategies for our upcoming event.

Ninja Pin

My friend Daniel calls me up and asked if I can design a logo and print tees for his bowling league. I was like sure! Why not? So he throws me their team name and voila! 48 hrs. later we've got a character and we're off to press for print. Daniel's league now has flava!

Zoo York x Kid Koala

Zoo York Canada recently teamed up with Graphic Novelist/Composer/Dj Kid Koala to build a one of one track bike. The bike features one of Koala's graphic novels/comic books re-occurring characters "Skid". The bike will be raced in the street by washed up author/photographer and long time Kid Koala collaborator Paul107.

We had the funky drummer drummin' throughout the evening. Beats laced by DJ Chris Legaspi and the talented Mr. Kai on the sticks.

Damon Rostick and Keith McDurmott. 2 life long friends I haven't seen in years! We used to run ball throughout the city back in the early 90's! It was good to see them last night!


We would like to thank all of folks that came through to Midnight Bliss. Especially to the ones that made the journey from LA, SF, and Sactown.
